Whitney & Company Realty Limited is a full service real estate company practicing in the mid-western Ontario market.
The Whitney family has a long history providing real estate services. In 1911 Charles Isaac Fenwick Whitney established a real estate firm in Toronto. In 1931 George Whitney opened a Kitchener office called George Whitney Limited. His son Richard joined the firm in 1946 and worked in the commercial real estate and appraisal business. John Whitney joined the firm in 1975 and the firm became Whitney & Company. The business is wholly owned by John Whitney and he is proud of his family history and years of providing real estate advice and service to his community.

An international fraternity of specialists in Industrial and Office Real Estate with over 3,000 members in 630 cities in 29 countries who work together to provide seamless real estate solutions.
Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM)
This is a North American organization specializing in Commercial Investment Real Estate. This is a referral network of professional realtors who are happy to share their information and clients on a referral basis.
National Association of Industrial and Office Park Developers (NAIOP)
A predominately US organization that expanded into the Canadian marketplace. This group was basically a developer oriented organization founded in 1967. They presently have 7,700 members including developers, realtors and business development personnel. We are the Region's only realtor member and have found this organization to be an excellent source of developer and corporate relocation prospects.
Ontario Real Estate Assdociation (OREA)
The OREA Real Estate College is the RECO-designated, award-winning provider of real estate education in Ontario. A division of the Ontario Real Estate Association, the College is registered as a private career college under the Private Career Colleges Act, 2005.
Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA)
The Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA) is one of Canada's largest single-industry trade associations, representing more than 100,000 real estate Brokers/agents and sales people working through more than 100 real estate Boards and Associations. Registrants in any province who become members of organized real estate have an obligation to act in accordance with the REALTOR® Code. This Code outlines the accepted standard of conduct for all real estate practitioners who are members of a real estate Board or a Provincial Association
The Building Owners and Managers Association of Canada Inc. (BOMA)
BOMA Canada's Mission is to represent the Canadian commercial real estate industry on matters of national concern, to develop a strong communications network between its local associations, BOMA International and other real estate associations and promote professionalism of its members through education programs and effective public relations activity.
The Workplace Community of Practice at CoreNet Global has over 1,000 members focused on developing and sharing workplace best practices.
Canadian Technology Triangle
Canada's Technology Triangle Inc (CTT) is a not-for-profit, public-private regional economic development partnership that markets the competitive advantages of the Waterloo Region to the world, and works to attract new businesses, investment and talent to the Region. As an information provider and business network facilitator, CTT is typically the first point of contact for enterprises outside the Waterloo Region interested in start-up, expansion, or relocation to the Waterloo Region. CTT's activity complements its partner municipalities, who focus on local business retention and expansion. CTT's municipal partners are the cities of Cambridge, Kitchener and Waterloo, and the townships of North Dumfries, Wellesley, Wilmot and Woolwich.
Communitech is a not-for-profit organization that supports technology companies in Waterloo Region and promotes the area as a technology cluster. Our programs and events connect professionals, share ideas, and strengthen companies.
We also champion innovation and collaboration on a provincial and national level. The newly-built Communitech Hub is a unique digital media ecosystem and one of many commercialization facilities that make up the Canadian Digital Media Network (CDMN), which we proudly steward.
